Free Bharat and Freedom of Education — Dr. TS Girishkumar

Freedom of any nation shall lie in the complete realisation of the identity of the nation. Mere political freedom can only be far flung; the nation has to work towards realisation of identity whatsoever. In our case, this at once becomes a huge and herculean task; as there had been no meaningful efforts for over a thousand years to create awareness of Bharatiya Sanskriti from any corner. If one looks back at the kind of education one had been receiving right from LKG to PhD, was there anything serious taught to us by way of Bharatiya Sanskriti in the curriculum?
