In Nyaya Sutra, Maharishi Gautama speaks at length about
knowledge. Knowledge worth the name must have the property
of affecting the knower, or affectivity. Affectivity should
imply refinement through knowing, being (un-purified) to becoming
(purified or
refined). It is through
this refinement, a process
of purification
that one becomes
Sanskrita, Cultured,
and from this, the concept
of Sanskriti
comes into existence.
